If you’re considering starting FUSIC and want to find out more, email us. We’re happy to discuss your training goals and how to fit it around your commitments.
Teaching & departmental meetings
We hold a monthly Echo Review and Ultrasound MDT on the fourth Thursday of every month, 1–2pm in the ICU seminar room at Salford Royal. It’s open to all trainees, trainers, and anyone with an interest in critical care ultrasound.
Each session typically opens with a brief governance review — covering scan quality, logbook progress, and any departmental updates — followed by case studies presented by trainees and trainers. There are usually two case slots per meeting; if you’d like to present a scan or discuss a clinical case, you can sign up through the meetings page.
The meeting is also available to join remotely on Microsoft Teams — the link is accessible once you’re signed in.
