Point-of-Care Scanning

The four core FUSIC modules

Heart

The cardiac component of FUSIC. Covers standard views, systolic function, pericardial effusion, and right heart assessment.

Lung

Pleural sliding, A-lines, B-lines, consolidation, and effusion. One of the most useful bedside tools in critical care.

Abdomen

Free fluid identification across the upper quadrants, pelvis, and bladder — the abdominal component of FUSIC.

DVT

Two-point compression at the femoral and popliteal vessels. A quick, reliable bedside test for proximal DVT.

Extended echocardiography beyond FUSIC level 1
